The team of  PGA Golf Professionals at Burhill has a wealth of knowledge and experience between them.  Available seven days a week, the team can offer a variety of teaching solutions to enhance your game from playing lessons to more structured teaching programmes.

Ben Rosser

Ben Rosse, Burhill Golf Club, Walton on Thames

PGA Head Professional 

Ben Heads up the coaching team at Burhill and has a wealth of experience of teaching both elite players and recreational golfers alike. He has taught numerous County champions at varying age ranges and has also worked with England regional and Challenge Tour level golfers. Ben is also currently a lead coach for the Surrey U17 bots development squad.

Ben has experience in many traditional and modern coaching techniques, he uses video analysis and GC2 when necessary to assist in giving a great coaching experience.

James Winstanley

James Winstanley, Burhill Golf Club, Walton on Thames

PGA Teaching Professional. 

James has worked at Burhill since 2007 and joined the club as a cadet member in 1999.  After a year playing on the Professional tours, James started his PGA Degree and turned his focus to coaching. James heads up our Junior Development Programme and teaches a large client base of members from beginners to professionals. Trackman owner and Sam Putt lab qualified. With success both as an amateur and professional golfer carding 12 professional wins, James can feed off of his experience as both a player and a coach.

David Callaway

David Callaway, Burhill Golf Club, Walton on Thames

PGA Teaching Professional

David joined the professional team at Burhill in 2016 from Foxhills.  He went to University in America on a golf scholarship, after completing his degree turned professional and competed in tournaments across Europe. In 2013, he represented Great Britain & Ireland in the PGA Cup. He has won over 25 PGA events and is a top 10 regional player.

David works with all levels of players and uses his extensive playing knowledge to help golfers to improve and enjoy the game more. 

Morgan Kennedy

Morgan Kennedy, Burhill Golf Club, Walton on Thames

PGA Assistant Professional. 

Morgan joined the professional staff at Burhill after spending 3 years working at Celtic manor resort, previously to that he spent a year in Australia working closely with the head professional at Paradise Palms Golf Club on developing junior coaching camps. His focus at Burhill is expanding our customer experience and developing our custom fit programme and our highly successful junior programme.

Jackson Jones

PGA Assistant Professional.

Jackson joined the professional team at Burhill after 18 months at Hoebridge Golf Centre. He worked closely with their large coaching team. Jackson is also very familiar with the junior section here at Burhill after joining the club in 2010 as a junior member, competing in national level competitions for the club. He is a driven player and coach who will strive to get the best out of his clients.
