Open Competitions
Burhill Golf Club hosts some of the best competitive and championship golf competitions throughout the year, including the ‘Scratch Open’ and our ‘Family Foursomes’, which have been enjoyed since 1937. Burhill boasts two of the most compelling golf courses in Surrey, with exciting events open to members and non-members.
Burhill Scratch Open 2024
Wednesday 15th May 2024
36 Hole Individual Stroke play • Coffee & Bacon Roll served on arrival • Soup and Sandwiches at lunch • BBQ Evening Meal served on the terrace & Prize Giving.

Burhill Mixed Open 2024

An open mixed competition for male and female golfers. This event will be played over both the Old and New Courses for mixed stableford foursomes.

18 Holes Stroke Play • Entry includes lunch & prizes • All golfers 17 years or under • Handicap limit (18.4 Boys/24.4 Girls)

FAMILY FOURSOMES 2024
Thursday 15th August 2024
A generational mixed foursomes competition for family members, first played in 1937. The format is a one day 36 hole tournament with a complimentary practice round included the day before. A drinks reception and prize presentation follows play so you can meet with other competitors. With a long history and offering fantastic value, this is a truly great competition to play in.
