Our Function Rooms
The stunning Georgian mansion house at Burhill Golf Club is a magnificent setting for all manner of occasions, with its luxurious furnishings and stunning views over the golf courses. The Club has six function rooms available, varying in size and character.
The Barnes Wallis Suite
Situated on the first floor with an elegant archway entrance and two magnificent bay windows overlooking the golf course, the Barnes Wallis Suite is the main function suite at Burhill Golf Club. Tastefully decorated using neutral pastel shades and accommodating up to 104 for a seated meal or 140 for a reception style event, the room is ideal for weddings, private dining or meetings.
Named after Sir Barnes Wallis who used Burhill as a base whilst inventing his famous ‘Bouncing Bomb’, the Barnes Wallis Suite has a soundproof partition wall that divides the room in two, making two separate rooms, the Barnes Room and the Wallis Room, accommodating 60 and 40 guests respectively for a seated event.
For larger events for up to 150 seated, double doors can be opened up to the adjoining Wellington Room, creating an ‘L’ shaped dining space. See a floor plan of the Barnes Wallis Suite and Wellington Room.
The Wellington Room
Named after the Duchess of Wellington who resided at Burhill during the late 19th Century, the Wellington Room is located on the first floor. With charming feature windows with views of the Old Course, this cosy room is perfectly suited to meetings and private dining for up to 32 people.
The Hospitality Suite is quietly tucked away and is the perfect suite for up to 10 delegates.
During the summer months, the Walled Garden at Burhill Golf Club can accommodate a luxury marquee for up to 500 guests.
With its own private entrance and secluded gardens, the marquee is ideal for product launches, gala dinners and conferences
